New here, about to take the plung
Hi All,
Couldn't have been happier than when I found this site last night. I'm placing my order this upcoming week for a GT. I have a question that may be too early to answer, as opportunity to sit in a '05 is still a rare occurence.
I kind of want to get a 5 speed stick but, in the last generation Mustang, shifting could be a tad bit crowded with size 12 feet! Everything I've read speaks of more room on the interior of the new model, wonder if the driver's side interior floor board will be bigger too?
Looking forward to hearing from those who's cars are due in soon!
Tom

6'1", size 13's. I found there was a lot more room in the footwells than the outgoing car. I am sure you will be fine.
I'm 6'4" with a 34" Inseam and wear Size 13 Shoes. I have sat in 3 05 GT's and all were Manuals. When I got in, and the Seat was all the way back,I had to move the Seat closer to the dash to be comfortable, and I had No Problem with Foot Room. There was Very Little Intrusion into the Foot Wells. I think this has alot to do with the Front Wheels being Pushed Further Forward, Giving the Driver More Foot Room to Work the Pedals.
