Hay Seuss. What's the speed limit through there. Airborne, into a blazer and then still airborne into a house 6 ft off the ground. You would have thought he came off a bridge. Glad everyone is ok.

Most likely when he fell asleep, the right foot 'fell forward' or something, and made the car faster.

my theory is that he thought the car could fly so therefor by hitting that wood pile at massive speeds, he would be able to launch OVER the house but cause of his sleeping disorder he didnt get his "MICHAEL JORDAN" hang time.

Lol, no leaks... yet.

That's pretty crazy, he made it out good though. No charges, no injuries.

he should seriously find out what kind of "condition" he has before he gets behind a wheel again.

As messed up as that is, it's a testament to the solidity of the S197 platform. I was in a nasty accident in my '05 GT just last December, and I walked away without so much as a scratch. Ditto for my passenger. The car was destroyed. People who looked at it could not believe we walked away unscathed.

This is one of the reasons I went with the new Mustang rather than restore another old muscle car.
The first generations are a deathtrap. Heck, the gas tank was the trunk floor.

Exactly, I was completely unhurt on my 05. I am sold on this platform in safety. Gives you an extra boost of assurance knowing your car is DEATH PROOF!! lol jk, sort of

It helps that the house he hit was largely made of paper and wood... here in Europe the householders would hear a dull 'thud', roll over and go back to sleep...
