Finally took the plunge

First of all, thanks for the help and knowledge that is on this site. Without it I would never have been so committed to getting a Stang nor would I have been able to order one on X-Plan.

I took the plunge and now I can look forward to my new Stang. The order info is as follows.

GT Coupe Premium 140A
Vista Blue G9
Dark Charcoal Leather KW
5-Spd Manual 44K
235/50/ZR18 T8G
IUP 18G
Satin Panel 67L
Spoiler Delete 13D
Active Anti-Theft 14A
Side Airbags 43A
3.55 Rear Gears 455
18" Aluminum Wheel 64W
Shaker 1000 918

of course there's the 5.58 charge for 2 gallons of gas, FDAF and Destination and Delivery.
all for the price of 28467 (and some pennies)

I cannot freaking wait.

I guess that link to http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums...p?showforum=45
worked out for you.

No need in spending more of your money than you need to. What did that X-plan save you? $1800?

Vista Blue with spoiler delete. A man after my own heart (I drive a 96 Moonlight Blue GT). Congrats!

oddly enough, about 50 bucks. I have it all here and Invoice is 28506 and I'm paying 28467

it seems that A or Z plan would have been about 1300 bucks lower.

Oh, I thought you were having to pay around MSRP before. Sounds like you would have had a good deal even without the X-Plan if you were getting it for invoice before. Well, $50 is better than nothing.

Congrats! Sounds a lot like mine. Going with x-plan saved me just over $2200 vs. MSRP. Supposed to be in next week....counting the days, hours and minutes.

you know I'm a schmuck. Don't know what I was thinking, but I now that I am looking at the post again I realize that you're talking savings vs. MSRP. Why I though you meant Invoice is beyond me.

So to properly answer your question. 2,118. I saved 2,118 dollars vs. MSRP. Again a fantastic deal and better that I would have gotten had I not followed your advise.....

2,118 dollars to spend on mods !!!!

Glad I could help. Spread the word about the X-plan link, and be sure to post pix when you get her.

X-plan rocks, so does VB, and spoiler delete! I found out this morning too, that IBM has an extra $300 off on 2006/2007 cars bought before 7/31. So I think my car will actually come in just under $27K, when MSRP is over $29K. That's amazing!

I can hardly wait! Supposed to arrive next week!
