I have owned 4 convertibles through the last 20 years. The first one had a soft, clear plastic rear window. After about 5 years of use, they begin to go opaque and you no longer are able to see through them in your rear view mirror. You might want to keep that in mind before you invest in a new convertible top with a plastic window. Switching to this kind of top will lower the resale value of your ride, most likely.
