My guess would be some time in August, when the 2007 brochures are released.

Thanks for the post. Took me two tries to find the 2007 Mustang section as the main page still points to the 2006 model.

Noticed you have to go search inventory to see the Xplan pricing. Why doesn't it display it like before? You would have to find a car optioned the way you want it to see what price should be.

I've never known it to be any different even when I linked there from the Ford Partner site whilst logged in. The "X-Plan" notation was over by the price but it always said something like "See details" and when you clicked on it they told you to view the X-Plan price in the inventory search. The final X-Plan price is there in the inventory but it's not broken down by option unfortunately.

FWIW the X-Plan price on the site and the actual X-Plan price of the vehicle can and do vary a little. At least with all three I've bought using it it did. Less than $100 off but still different.

I went to the conofigurator, dont see X-plan pricing anywhere. Any idea what a GT about 28k MSRP would be?

You have to link from the Ford Partner site and therefore have a valid login. Based on past experience you are probably looking at an X-Plan price that is roughly $2k less than the $28k MSRP depending on options.

For example, a dealer in my area has an '06 Torch Red GT Premium coupe with a manual tranny, IUP, interior accent (red leather) active anti-theft, wheel locks, and fanblade wheels with an MSRP of $28,845. Ford's inventory shows me an invoice price of $26,795 and an X-Plan price of $26,763.

Oddly enough the MSRP is about what I end up paying for a vehicle after the X-Plan discount is taken off of it and tax is added back on.

Not sure where this post really belongs. Went to Forddirect.com and built an '07. Has anyone seen the new interiors in person? I'm wondering just how accurate the colors are in the on-line configurator.

I just built an '07 GT Premium at forddirect.com and it doesn't list Alloy as an exterior color option. I'm guessing at least some options haven't been loaded yet.

Thanks for the info. I didn't notice the scroll bar the first several times I visited the site. But thanks to you, I did just go build my GT. Now I just need to wait a bit before I can order it...

Dude, build your car on KBB.com and figure that the X plan is about $400-500 below invoice..

I hate the way you are forced to get options you don't want, just to get an option you do want. I want the BASE stereo in a GT coupe but with IUP and Premier trim package, premier makes you get the Shaker 500 which I plan to rip out anyway. What a waste of $600

All premium gives you is leather and the shaker 500. Just pick Deluxe and add the leather and IUP.

I was talking about with the premier trim package (the padded armrests/dash, aluminum pedals, shifter trim ring)

Oh yeah, I got you. The question is then, is the PTP worth $1000 to you if you plan on ripping out the Shaker 500.
