Ok, now I'm confused. You are saying that they are keeping Satin Silver and reintroducing Silver Metallic (ZY) for 2008?

Those 2 colors are so similiar in appearance that there is no benefit in having both. At distances greater than 10' you probably couldn't tell the difference

 

They need to bring SONIC BLUE back

 

I'd have no problems if they made Vista Blue a 2 year run of colors. Not a bad idea Dave. Though I don't see DHG being a regular release color. That is the color they will use for the Bullitt SE in December 2007. That color is meant for special things.

Unfortunately Jeff, FORD has a track record of using their 'special" colours on all their mods. Same with their badging. It is so wrong to call those all in the line, an anniversary editon, and share the colours too.

Me too, are they keeping TG now? Red fire and satin silver are staying too? I'd like to see them do away with a few colors the pallet is getting to big...IMO

 

That is true. I just hope that when they do the Bullitt, that DHG is only for that car. At least they kept Azure Blue for Mach 1 models only.

well today i picked up one of those free car for sale mags and saw this sonic 05 for sale, so i set out from CT to Mass to see it. when i got there the saleman told me a guy just bought it for his wife as a Christmas present. I had only seen this color a couple of times. It looks awesome. Here are the pics. He took me in back even though it was sold. Sonic blue rocks

Tungsten Grey
Alloy Metallic

Well Alloy Grey isn't really silver at all...its more like a metallic black/dark dark grey

I can't see them having more than 2 silvers .. light and dark.

 

He hasn't responded but maybe Kevin was saying that the above colors are not available in 2008 (which would make more sense)

Sangria Red replaces Redfire

So according to Kevin's info in this thread 2008 colors include:
1. Sangria Red (replaces Torch Red?)
2. Vapor Silver
3. Silver Metallic
4. Satin Silver
5. Redfire
6. Tungsten

I think we can safely assume that Black and Peformance White are here to stay.
So that leaves, Windveil Blue, Vista Blue, Grabber Orange and Alloy Gray. 2 of which will have to go.

I would guess Windveil Blue and Alloy Gray are gone after 07.

Since production moved to the AAI facility, Ford seems to be stuck at only offering 10 colors on the Mustang. I ***umed this will continue. You know what happens we you assume things.


I hope I'm wrong, but I think it will remain 10 until DHG is reintroduced a year from now.
