new clutch, now other problems WTF
Been lurking here for a while, but now have questions. Just replaced new clutch in 2005 4.0 Stang.
I have two issues.
1. Check engine light is on. Will have to get her in the air to see if all O2 sensors are connected. (O2 sensors were removed prior to dropping tranny)
2. A/C compressor does not engage and no cold air.
Went to Autozone and got a can of R134. I believe the low port is the one on top of black canister on driver side toward firewall. When I plugged her in I got a reading of 135 lbs?
Can't think of why the air all of a sudden doesn't work.
Would there be anything I could have touched, move, not connected that would make the A/C not operative? It was working fine prior to the clutch job.
Thanks for any input,
Dann

No idea on the CEL , but does the fan come on when you try to turn the A/C ? If not and they had to take the center console out , then there's a harness behind the center plate that might not be connected. You can check it without removing the whole center panel by removing the driver side wing panel , then you can see the harness and whether it's connected or not and access it too ...
