I just heard back from my dealership about the vibrating noise/feeling in my transmission. I saw a similar TSB but it was for the exhaust. This one is related to a loose cable in the transmission that causes vibration which can be felt in all gears but is most prominate in low speeds and especially reverse. To correct the problem the dealership is going to install damping equipment.

This applies to 05 V6 Auto Trannies (not sure if it's the same on GT's but I'm guessing it would be). I'll get the full TSB details tomorrow when I pick my car up.

 

this is a stupid question but can someone tell me what the letters TSB stand for..i know its something to do with a recall .

Not stupid at all, it stands for Technical Service Bulletin.

Any update on this yet? They did some work on my trans last week but don't think it is what you are talking about. Just curious as to what they are doing to yours.
