I cut down my factory antenna, I found that the aftermarket ones whistled when on the highway. I just put the ball in a vice and twisted it off, then I cut the antenna to roof height and filed the end down until the ball fit back on. I used a little epoxy to keep it there. Took me all of 15 min and no noise.

That's been a popular trick since 05. Everyone seems to love these wheels so much maybe I'll put mine back on my car and call it a day!

They look great on your Alloy by the way.

I was doing it back in 2000, first one I ever did it on was my 5.0 Explorer

It's just really cheap and looks good.

Is it just me or do the 18" vert wheels from FRPP look different than the 18" & 19" ones on factory car?

Very nice! I love the amount that those springs lowered it.

Keep in mind Jim that the 18 inch "convertible wheels" are cast with Bright machined spokes and wheel face with dark charcoal painted wheel openings... whereas the 19's (like yours) are forged and have the same finish on the entire wheel. So the 18s do look slightly different than the 19s. I am fairly sure the FRPP version that are installed on my car are identical to the wheels that come on the '10 verts.
