Can you trade options for rear diffs that dont whine, working fuel systems and patches to the leaks?

I would much MUCH rather pay extra for quality built V8 Stang manual stripped out than all those other options.

It is a great car as is. But I still am waiting for a real +1 version. The gt500 doesent cut it for me.

Who wants lights????? Give me an aluminum 390 cubic inch, 425hp, 450 ft-lbs plant. A 6 speed. Brembo brakes, 18x9.5" factory polished bullitts with sticky tires, lower it 3/4 of an inch and heavier sway bars, springs, and struts with an aggressive nose and some nicer rear flank styling.

Make it weigh no more than 3600lbs, move the batt to the trunk to ballance it out a bit better. Oh, and actually make it availible to the public for 37000 dollars or so.

Then I would be impressed with ford. I know slot of the above can be done to the cars we all own now. But it would be nice if ford made a factory packaged version, ready to go. To shut up the evo and M3 owners who think they own gods perverbial gift to the automotive world.

Perhaps it could follow in the footsteps of the new Focus?

Has accent lighting built in to little crevices.

Makes Sense since Both the Upper and Lower Console Pieces are Different! Great Reference!

From the NAIAS thread I posted this:

The "Ambient Lighting Package' was mentioned by Mark Fields or JMays ....
which would bring to light (light..hahhhh) the package that Kev said would be in the 2008 Mustang.

IIRC the ambient lighting package would be lights in different area's and the ability to change the colours.... like MyColour to the Nth Degree.....
"ability to change the colour of the cup holder lights and under the dash etc.
Hopefully this will be allowing us to use my colour to change the lights not only in the dash but the whole IP...as well as around the car..

I think that the Edge has this as well. Guess Ford may be doing this with all their cars.

As per Mark Fields in the Focus presentation

"the most dramatic is the all new ambient lighting package that adds some real drama to the focus' interior. Customers can choose among 7 different colours to bring to life all too forgotten places like cupholders and footwells..."

i agree.. if you could change that ambient lighting to all the different combos when you're adjusting your My Color, it would be sweet.. and it would actually be tasteful as compared to the Rice style Streetglow stuff..

Swore I posted on this thread , either way I don't mind interior lights, in fact I would love it if the My Color option would change all the light up parts of the center console to the same color (radio, Auto shifter ect) but when I see the floor lit up I get this ugly picture of Fast and the Furious. I am not into factory Rice options like, how Toyota does this with the Scions.

It's going to be expensive to retrofit the radio, and console and the shifter and cupholders might not work without drilling holes
