Need some help

I have a problem that has me stumped. Neither of my key fobs will unlock the passenger door. I replaced the batteries in the fobs. Both doors lock and unlock with either interior door switch. I tried reprograming the fobs and that did not fix the issue.
One thing that did happen is that with the key in the ignition in position 2 the fob would lock and unlock both doors as normal. One press for drivers door and a second press for passenger door. On thing that I have not tried yet is to unhook the batteryfor 10 or so minutes. The other thing was that when I unlocked with the key fob I could not lock again until the fog and parking lights turned off. ( 30 seconds ) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

JAMES BURKEUPDATE: Problem solved. Last fall I had a burned out parking light bulb. I had a used one in the tool box so I put it in. Well over the winter I decided to swap them all out for red and amber LED bulbs. I put new 194 bulbs in this morning and all is good now. I should have known better as LED bulbs in my sequential tail lights caused other strange issues also.

LED lights going in place of standard lamps generally have to have some resistance added in-line. Without it, weird electrical gremlins appear and proceed to generate confusion and wreak havoc.

Yes I know that because of the issue that I had with my tail lights. I never would have thought that the parking lights would be tied into any other circuit.

This might explain why im having similar issues with my car. Sometimes I have to wait until the lights turn off after unlocking the car to unlock the passenger door. Guess I'll have to check if all the leds have resistors.
