Need a build date lookup.

The ford dealers around my area are, shall we say not the best people to deal with. So is there anyone on here that can do me a favor and look up my build date for me? Here is my VIN number: 1ZVFT80N655142257. Thanks to anyone who can help me out!

look on your engine block, on the left side right infront (passanger side of cylinders) you should see some green or some color writing and that is your build date, i found out mine was Feb 12, 2006 and i checked it out and it was the exact day it was built

You don't need to call Ford. Any Ford dealership can pull your build date using our OASIS program.

Here is your build date for 1ZVFT80N655142257

BUILD DATE

The build date is also found on your receipts whenever you take the car in for some type of service.

My Crown Vic's cam cover had a build date sticker that wasn't the same date as the car. The engines are assembled beforehand and shipped to the final assembly factory. I don't believe they slap together the engines at Flat Rock.

It's possible the date you see in green writing is just when the engine was installed in the vehicle. They assemble the engines at Romeo (32 Mile Rd and Van Dyke) and ship them to Flat Rock (I-75, way down there by Monroe). It's possible it was just a coincidence that the engine was assembled and installed in the vehicle the same day.
