SONIC BLUE all the way!
Oh, I meant vista blue...

I'll admit a freshly cleaned, waxed black Mustang is AMAZING but it takes too much effort to maintain. Also, like many have said blemishes and scratches show up quickly.

I never thought I'd own a blue car. I always had black or white stangs. Something about VB (or Sonic) blue just works with this car.

Either way, you won't go wrong. Both are awesome.

When I pictured the mustang I wanted as a kid, it was deep red, so I decided to get Redfire.
Great, now I might want RED!!!!!! Just kidding.

I agree that the VB is so B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.......

Black is just SOOOO B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L too.

Grumble, grumble.

You're right though, i need to see them next eachother and I need to not worry about it so much.

Maybe I'll just tell the dealer to pick one of the two and I'll just be surprised when it arrives. Either way, its gettin the white stripes.

When I picked my car up it was parked next to a black one. Nothing against the black but there was no compairason. Go with the Vista (of course I'm biased)

I would go with Vista Blue, What color interior are you thinking about, you can't get red with the Vista Blue. We ordered Vista Blue and love it. Had to have a pic of Tony's VB 95SVTCOBRAVA on the desktop when waiting. Thanks Tony!

I like both, but from what I've been reading ,both colors have a tendency to amplify swirl marks. That would kill me everytime I looked at it. your choice though.Flip a coin or something

I would go with black. Yes it is hard to keep clean, but when it is clean it looks AWESOME...

Go with the BLUE, most everyone loves the blue color with or without the stripes, But IMO the blue is sooooo much brighter (and easier to keep clean)

Why not do both?

If you get the Black car, accent with blue.
If you get the Vista Blue, accent with black.

That way you only have to change the color of the stripe.

Remember: It's not what you drive but how you accessorize!!!

I guess i could go with the VB and do black racing stripes. I dont know....the idea of letting the dealer chose is sounding better and better.

The thing is, I've seen other folks in here with black GT's that have the white racing stripes.....

For some reason though, everyone says that the VB with white stripes would be awesome, but no one has done it yet. There is one VB with stripes, but they are really narrow and dont wrap the bumpers.

AAARRRGGGHHH! Well, on a positive note, i have not lost any sleep over it.

Though when anyone asks what color my 18 month old son's eyes are, its hard not to say "Vista Blue!"

Hey Brian, I vote for Vista Blue. I have this color coming in, and plan on painting the stipes, a la Shelby style. Blue has always been my favorite color, and once I saw Vista, I was hooked. Sort of reminds me of Guardsman Blue a little bit, hence why I want to stripe the car. Sort of my version of a GT350 Tribute. Plus Black will show EVERYTHING. But the decision is solely up to you. Good luck on it. Let us know how you made out.

Though, I'll tell you, as much as blue is my favorite color, and I LOVE Vista Blue, had Ford make DHG available, Vista Blue would have been an afterthought. Darn you Ford, for not having this color :bang: .

Here are some pix of a Vista Blue with silver stripes (can't remember where I got them from). I edited the last one to have white stripes.

I ordered a VB w/charcoal, then when it was C/U for a while I found a BLACK with crimson red and fell in love and bought it and cancelled the VB order. Both are great. I also tossed with silver, white and red . :bang: Have a great time deciding
