Too bad I was looking forward to seeing how you mounted the lights. I am looking for exactly the same lights but they are hard to find. Its hard to tell by your pics, do the lights have pots that they are mounted in? Any info on how you did this would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS

Looks great! I would think we would see more Torch Red cars on this site. Makes me pine even more for my ordered GT. How about some more pictures with your daughter's car? Congratulations!

Those lights look FANTASTIC! What kind are they and where did you get them?

I don't suppose you could provide any instructions on how you mounted them into the grill and such?

Thanks and very nice looking Mustang!

The lights I used for my grill were called utility lights and here in Florida almost all auto parts store and retail stores(WalMart,Kmart and etc)have them. They are 5 inches in diameter.I cut a 5 inch hole in the outside part of the grill,I could only find a 4 1/2 or a 5 inch hole cutter so I went with the 5 inch one.I would have cut a 4 3/4 inch hole but didn't find a hole cutter that size. You end up setting the light in the hole, aim the light and when you get it the best you can tack the light in place.Remove the grill and then come up with a plan to attach the light to the grill,I melted the plastic removed from the holes with a soldering iron the hold the light in place. You might even try using a hot glue gun to see if that will hold them in place. My wife has several hot glue guns but I didn't think about that at the time. The only draw back to these lights is if the bulb burns out the grill wouold have to be removed due to the fact the screws holding the light together come in from the rear.I don't know if I will have the lights on all that much, just liked the looks.

Thank you for the info!! How was the wiring? I was reading somewhere that the harness in the V6 is the same as the GT. If so there should be some place to plug/splice these into. Also what did you use for a switch? Thanks again for all your info!!!

I was going to use thr GT light switch.I ordered one through a local Ford dealer and I went to the service deparment to find out if the wiring from the switch to the relay/fuse box under the hood was already there. Also wanted to know if the wiring from the relay/fuse box to the lights was present in the harness. To make a long story short the dealer would not give me that info so I cancelled the order for my switch.I don't know if all this wiring is present or not.I ordered a remote switch so I did not have to run any wiring from inside the car to under the hood.I have a little transmitting fob in the car and a receiver /relay under the hood wired to 12 volts and hooked to the lights.I can turn my new lights on/off with any combination of other lights unlike the way the lights would normally be wired on a GT.I can turn the fog lights on by themselves or with parking lights or high/low beams. The remote switch cost $34.00 where the GT switch was $82.00.The dealer wanted $300.00 to hook the lights up thats when I cancelled my order.I have a total of $70.00 wrapped up in the lights, switch and wiring compared to about $700.00 if I would have bought all Ford GT parts to do it.

Thanks for the info Bill. I really appreciate it. Once I find a set of lights I'll give it a go. I like the smaller lights, I think they look way better than the GT ones. Great job on yours it looks very nice!!

Had to delete all the pictures in the first part of this topic so I could add the ones at the end.Error message said I had to many attachments so when I deleted the earliest ones I could then add the pics with the lights, thats why you can no longer see the pictures on page 1.

Nice looking car!!! Ah AH! I wondered how long it would take for 6 owners to figure out how to add fog lights to lessen the visual differentiation between them and the 8.

Nice job.
