I would have liked to put the lights closer together but the solid part of the grill is only on the sides.Didn't know how to attach the lights any closer to the center.

Yeah, and I didn't think it through. You couldn't have put them side-by-side becuase your Pony would've been in the way. Just tell people you spaced them out so your Pony would have room to run!

Hey, Mr. W, that looks great. I always thought the GT's fog lights were a bit overpowering, these look just right.

Whereabouts in Orlando are you? I live in the UCF area, off Dean Road. Maybe when my mineral gray V6 comes in (about four more weeks now...they tell me) we can set up a cruise sometime.

Want to repeat the one more time.

Those fogs look better than the stock GT ones.

The lights came from WalMart for 10.00 each.I cut a 5 inch hole in each side of the grill with a hole cutter on the drill press.Set the lights in the hole, lined them up the best I could and cemented them in.I actually melted some of the removed plastic from the grill to hold them in place then rtved them all the way around.Just had to do a lot of measuring to get them in the right spot and the same for both sides.

Now i REALLY can't wait to get mine...You have just offically made me antsy! I WANT MY CAR!

Great car - i am extremly jealous(<--spelling?)!

What time is the show? I have to work Saturday, but I'm free Sunday. Don't have my own Mustang yet, but I still like checking out cool cars.

Mr. W, hope you stop by, I'd certainly like to see your car in person.

Ditto - I think the main problem with the GT's fogs for me is that they are a bit too big and stick out too far forward than the main headlamps.

I rented an '05 V6 this weekend from hertz and was thinking about the same mod myself -whether I get a V6 or GT - I want to drill into the grill to set the lamps farther back. The grille seemed a bit difficult to get that kind of access to, unless you drilled into it with the grille still on the car. Mr Wick, PM me if you can and let me know the details of your mod.

I am planning on making it up to the car show Saturday evening.Went to a Ford dealer yesterday to see if he would tell me what I needed to do to wire the fog lights, they wouldn't tell me but they would do it for 300.00(5 hours labor at 60.00 per hour).I politely said no thanks.I cancelled my GT switch order through them for 88.00,why spend my money there if they don't care to help me out.I am going with a remote switch for the lights, all I will have to turn the lights on/off is a small fob similar to the Mustang fob.I will let you know how it works when it gets here.
