19's seem to be the best size you can get for this mustang. there is just so much space in the well that 19's do a good job of filling it up. very nice red calipers go perfect with the car

Don't the 245/45/19's give you the same diameter as the stock 235/55/17's?
Wouldn't the wheel well gap be the same for both tires since the diameter was the the same?

stock 17's= 27.1
his 19's= 27.6
He has 1/2" more.
IMO i think an overall diameter of 28" is all this car needs. No more no less.
255/50/18's (28.03) is the size i'm shooting for when I get mine.
With a tuner you can change it so the car recognizes the bigger wheel/tire. They'll be out soon, if not out yet.

That's exactly why I didn't go with 255 /40 19. The overall diameter is 1/4"
shorter than stock and a full 1/2" less than 245/45 19. I agree with your theory
manEhawke abut 28" overall .. I would just be careful not to end up with the
tire rubbing.
