He said Plymouth.....
Yep, I did, and I said the stereo is better too! The car stinks, but the stereo is better than in the Mustang, imo.

Because you said your Plymouth Breeze had a better stereo than the Shaker500, which i seriously HIGHLY doubt....

but if you want to transfer that stereo to the stang...MORE power to ya....
Hmm, well I doubted the Plymouth system would be better too, until I got the Mustang. If you don't believe me, they are both sitting in my driveway so you are welcome to come and listen to both. No, i wouldn't transfer the Plymouth stereo to the Mustang, but I might go aftermarket. I admit, Plymouth cars stinked, but every Chrysler I've been in, I've been more than pleased with the factory stereos.

I did not notice any odors when I first drove mine off the dealer's lot. Just the wonderful new car smell!.

By the way my Shaker 500 sounds great with CDs. If you are only playing the radio you can't tell how good it sounds. Also just a tip, check the settings on your system. Sometimes the cars comes with the bass, treble and various balance settings set poorly. For example I noticed when I first turned on my radio it sounded kind of boomy. Well the bass was turned up too high. I think when you set the controls properly and play a CD you will see that it is a very good system.

I like my Shaker 500 sound as well. Play the latest System of A Down CD at about 75% volume and it freakin rocks.

OH, and I noticed that the Shaker 500 stinks. The standard low wattage stereo in my plymouth breeze sounds much, much, much better. No kidding.
You really have to tweak the bass and trebel to get it sounding decent. Stock settings sound like poo.

Well I LOVE my Shaker 1000. I get complements on it all the time. Nobody believes it's stock.
Well worth the money not to tear up my interior to lay new speaker wire IMHO.

I was not impressed with the Shaker 500. That's why I ordered a Deluxe model. I think the woofers look sort of cheesy in the doors IMHO. To me, the money is better spent with the aftermarket(iPod interface too ) My g/f has the Mach 1000 in her '02 GT and it sounds like poo. Tons of distortion.
