dealerships in the dallas area are ALL horrible, i have not found one that is reasonable. They are all askin msrp or higher, and WILL NOT negotiate at all. Which i think is bizaar since this will be a mass produced vehicle. The dealers in the area also have very little knowledge of the options, for example, most of them think that IUP is just the premium package, and dont believe me when i tell them the difference. because of all of this i decided to go to houston to my my mustang, where they have been treating me right so far.

smallpurplepeanuts- mind if i ask where you got that killer deal? is that A plan or something?

I've stopped by a dealer in the area where I work a few times to see what they have to offer in regard to 2005 Mustangs (pricing and options) and every time I've been there I always see the $5000 market adjustment sticker.
A couple days ago I was driving by this dealer and saw a sonic blue mustang GT on the lot so I thought I take a look at the car as I have a sonic blue mustang GT on order from another dealer.

The car I saw at the dealer had the parchment leather interior, shaker 500, manual transmission and NO IUP, and they want $31000 for the car.
The one I have on order has the IUP, automatic, side airbags. active anti-theft and wheel locks and with x-plan it should cost me $28644 out the door.

That $31000 car would prolly cost you $33,800 "out the door". Quite the mark up we have here.
