I have seen your car in person, and I am with Route 66 on this one. What's so different about yours? No stripes, scoops, tint, nothing... And aren't you still running factory wheels/tires even? There are many, many 05/06 Stangs more "modded" than yours around here.

I think maybe Meguiars wanted a shiny black bone-stock looking car, and you were just lucky that your car was parked in the right place at the right time.

I was just joking about the "obviously you havent seen it" comment, but seriously the part about where I live is true and combined with being in the right place at the right time like you said, that and I talk to everyone being a bartender its second nature for me and I think that helps too, I dont know who they are but people open up and then bang they are offering some kind of hookup no matter what it is, car or not.

CONGRATULATIONS ROBELLO. MY CAR WILL BE ON TOMORROWS (11/17/05) EPISODE OF IT TAKE A THIEF. IT'S A SHOW ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL ABOUT HOME SECURITY. IT THE PROCESS OF BREAKING INTO MY HOUSE, THE STOLE MY MUSTANG. I HAVE ALREADY SEEN THE EPISODE AND WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED THEY CUT OUT A WHOLE LOT MORE FOOTAGE OF THE CAR. WHEN THEY CAME BACK TO REVISIT, I HAD NEW RIMS ON THE CAR AND THEY DID LIKE A WHOLE SEGMENT ON IT. UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS CUT FROM THE FINAL VERSION GOING TO BE AIRED. IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IT WILL BE ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL AT 5PM ON 11/22/05.

nope Mr. Meguiar likes black cars not blue ones, and they were looking for an 05 to use and the guy that took the pics knew my car so he came by and took the pics.....of course all this was already explained in the thread and there is also a pic of my BLACK GT on the box.

More than likely it's for conceal and carry. They are specialy designed fanny packs for smaller hand guns. Alot of people use these for convience and quick access if needed. Got to love that 2nd amendment.

 

I figured you were joking but I just wanted to clarify to be on the safe side.

no prob I chopped the stripes, fogs and hood scoops in that pic, www.surfnsocal.com/gallery for a better look, its in the rrobello album with a before and after chop. buying a box? I am getting the first one done for free along with a empty first print to show off. As for using it I will give it a try and if it works better than others than I will but if not then back to what works, sorry I love meguiars and most of their products are the best but in some areas there are other companies that out shine them.

 

boy, some of you guys are a bunch of tools. His car is kickass...and has done more GO than SHOW...unlike some of you. give the guy some slack.

He's right, we do live in an area where you rarely see a 05+ Mustang GT. More BMW, Benz, Audi and porshe then even v6 stangs. Our cars stick out like sore thumbs...especially because they are loud. That's how Energy Suspension found me...and they are using my car to design new parts.

Hey, I watched that episode last night. Dude - you left your keys hanging in plain sight - of course it got stolen!! That thief took ya'll to the bank! BUT - you got some cool work done to the house as a result and should feel much safer now. Congrats on the newborn too!
