I stopped in at the dealer to drop off my license plate form and as I was leaving I saw a sonic blue Gt in the lot. I went over and sure enough it was mine
I went back inside and they didn't realize it was here since it was not to show up until next Friday.

Well you may as well toss me into a padded cell for the weekend because they told me they could not PDI it until Monday.

I called my neighbour who is the service manager and he made a few calls. I just got a call that it is being PDI'd right now. So if all goes well I will get the car later this afternoon.

To make other matters worse the sign shop messed up my stripes and may not have them ready today :bang: but a good thing is my magnaflow mufflers will be here around 2:00 p.m.

So I am losing my mind. Good news, bad news, bad news turning into good news and good news turning into bad news. Just to think, if I didn't see the car I wouldn't even be thinking about it right now, but I have seen it and I want it.

We just got the invoice for the GT I ordered initially, it should be here next week. Torch on red interior/no spoiler/IUP/5-speed/side airbags/AATheft. NOW, should I buy this one or wait for the auto...........

I couldn't imagine being a customer of a place that said they didn't have time till Monday to process your vehicle. It's a godd thing you know somebody. I would have been pissed.

Well good luck. My dealer just bumped me up to a priority 10. I think it is because I e-mail him every day and he is sick of me

adrenalin.. contgratulations, you only had to wait 10 days more to get your car even with the dealer's screw-up.

If you are in the Toronto area, drop me a PM, I would love to see a sonic car in person.

well think about it...today is friday, if they tell you it will be ready today and then don't get to it then that would not be good. They gotta give themselves some room. And i'm sure Sat are very very busy

What, we're supposed to slack because it's Friday? I understand things get busy, but when someone has waited months to get a vehicle, I'd do everything in my power to get ready that day unless the customer said they would not be able to pick it up. How long does it take to get it ready? Maybe my expectations are to high. I would think the car could be ready in an hour or two, but I've certainly been wrong before.

I got my car downfall is the windshield is cracked but at least in an area that allows me to drive it "safely". I started putting on the racing stripes but gave up for now. The hood has a wicked curve that you don't notice until you try to make a straight line.

I did get my magnaflow mufflers installed. Wow, they sound nice. I will post pics as soon as I can. The weather was real crappy today.
