I got the broken robot arm story from my sales lady this past Saturday when I called to find out if I'd been scheduled yet. What will they think of next. Do they get that line from the Sales Manager?

 

just to update... as of right now, the original dealer has not responded to me as to why they cannot order mustangs right now... sooooo...

I went to Prestige Ford in Garland, Tx.. I now have an order for a Black Mustang GT w/red leather with an estimated delivery time of 4-6 weeks... wooooo!! screw that other lady... hehehe...

You will be blown away by this car. I am loving it! You know what? You did the right thing by ditching that other place and going somewhere else. They were blowing smoke, without a doubt. Anyway, with the bad stuff behind you, I'll be honest and say it won't get any less antsy the closer it gets to when your car will be delivered. Good luck and take care.

 

Just curious, I was at Prestige Sat. getting my scheduled maint. and saw a black GT w/red interior. This was late Saturday afternoon. I guess it is already gone, they don't last long.

Just out of curiosity, what dealer were you talking to before?

 

It's a little farther drive, but you might want to check Sam Pack's 5 star Ford in North Richland Hills. They show (on the ford site) to have 2 black GT's w/red interior on the lot. Talk to Marisa in internet sales (817)849-3253. Tell her Scott with the Mini Cooper sent you. Maybe she can work something out for you.
They move alot of GT's so I would imagine they have a great allocation.

 

Also, Town East Ford showed to have one, don't know if maybe they were who were dealing with, but Rockwall Ford also showed one as well. There was one other dealer I found one at but I can't remember who it was!

 

the original dealer was Texan Ford in Arlington...

I think I looked at every mustang in the metroplex (from the inventory lists online) and there were a ton that were close to what I wanted.. but none that were "It"...

again, thanks for all the advice.. the lady I worked with at Prestige is named "Bea Purdy"... nice lady... really cut the crap and got my order done and treated my wife and I right.. she really went out of her way to show us all the colors they had in (and they had quite a few in stock)... Im sooo pleased...

now the hard part... the wait...

 

that might have been the one I was looking at last night.. it was sold by the time I had gotten there... but it was absolutely beautiful.. the buyer had them add 18" chrome "bullet" style wheels... VERY VERY sharp on that car...
