Mustang Ordering Article in Sept M/T

I got this months Motor Trend the other day and found probably the most timely article ever. The author is searching for a new Mustang and decides to order one instead. He does the factory tour and shows his vehicles progress as it all comes together. It was a great article and as I said timely as mine isw set to be built next week! As if the wait wasn't killing me already!

He should have done that article back when the new Mustang first came out to show how screwed up the ordering process is.

Ah, a factory tour. Most people have trouble figuring out if there car has even been ordered or not let alone being built without Kzinti anymore.

What month's issue is this in? Nevermind, I just saw your sub-heading that reads September!

I'm sure they gave him the royal treatment because he's a journalist, even if it is Motor Trend!

i would have hapily taken a factory delivery of my car. I mean i know it would be diferent since the car that came before mine could well have been a mazda 6 wagon. But i would have loved to have seen my car being built.

Looks like Vette guys are the only ones with this sort of option here in the states it seems. Probably because they keep the Bowling Green facilitiy relatively spotless, was really a treat going there to pick up a friends Vette a couple years back.
