You actually took his criticism and called Brad to see if this thread has gone bad, lol? Well okay, even I agree the thread should be closed, but really, what DOES it matter in the grand schema of life whether it stays open, closed or whatever...
I asked Brad because he is in contact with Hau Thai-Tang I maybe our buddy still wants to win this poll. I hope you weren't implying I'm not capable of "standing on my own two feet" so to say. :nono:

Secondly, I think those people that want to vote and still want the mustang to win should be allowed to do so. If the poll is irritating you, don't vote and ignore this post.

I don't like it when people tell me to shut a thread down. That's my job at the moment. No back-seat mods :nono: B)

It appears someone is running some type of program to vote automatically 1-2 times per second.

Well, as long as we are cheating... anybody with a unix box could do this...

Code:
> while(true); do lynx -head "http://forums.prospero.com/n/mb/viewpoll.asp?webtag=fdcvehicles&tid=201&lgnF=y&dlink=1&vote=10"; done;
And let it run for a few hours That will vote continuously for the mustang.

You have to have a unix/linux (or Mac OS X) computer. Open a terminal window and copy and paste that in, make sure its all on one line and press enter. You should see a lot of html scroll by as it requests the page (submitting your vote) over and over again. Notice the mustang has gained a couple thousands votes since I posted that

Actually, if you have wget, this works well

[code removed until I debug it!]

(lynx stopped for me, required intervention. wget by default accepts cookies but doesn't save them!)

Woops, your right. I copied and pasted the wrong version. You can get it to work in lynx without intervention with..

Code:
> while(true); do lynx -source "http://forums.prospero.com/n/mb/viewpoll.asp?webtag=fdcvehicles&tid=201&lgnF=y&dlink=1&vote=10"; done;
That should have the same effect as your wget command, I just figured more people would have lynx installed.

My code actually wasn't tested, didn't seem to be working correctly.

I am trying yours now.

Hahaha!

I removed your final semi-colon, and replaced it with & and ran a few at a time in the same shell.

Look at how we're climbing now.... refresh the screen. I am running a half dozen or more simultaneously from a machine in a colocation...

Ooops, we passed them by.

So sorry.

Maybe I should switch my votes to the Maserati Quattroporte and show what a farce this is.
