You know, car design and manufacturning is not rocket science..........they have been doing it for over 100 years..........reliabilty should be a given, and easy given at that, leaving design and marketing as the changing element. Just look at the Ford Freestyle or 500 compared to the Pacifica and Chrysler 300 respectively for the same price, the same is even more true with the Japanese and Europeans...........all are more attractive and innovative, more value for the buck. I predict, and I'm RARELY WRONG, that Ford's newest offerings will all go the way of the Thunderbird.
I find it incredible that a few years ago the Lincoln Town Car was redesigned moderately and no one could even tell/care..............the Crown Victoria's are ancient relics, as are the Tarus and Sable...........and this is the 'year of the car' for Ford?????? It's like GM with 20 year old Chavilars that are their top sellers.......................got the picture, it's a sad one, one designed and implemented by FMC failures............in Europe alone they have had 3 new CEO in 2 years, almost as bad as GM, I guess they all got golden parachutes, retired filthy rich, and we get to see and don't buy antiquated cars. Come to think about it, the Mustang was a rolling relics as well, I have one, enjoy it, but realize it's competitively outclassed. Let's hope after the honeymoon with the 05 that it's a worthy car............I have my doubts based on this sad history by Ford.

If you're going to come in here and bash everything we love and talk about, then consider moving to another site.
Consider yourself warned.

I think branch needs a hug. 30 posts and not one that I can remember being positive. If you are displeased with Ford and the 2005 Mustang, why post in the 2005 forum? Just go home and let us have our fun.
