I would have loved to see a close up of the reds together to compare.

The 05 looks amazing from these shots. The legend lime above with the bullitt rims looks good. Sits very low as well.

Thanks again skife.

You and your reds Dan,

methinks you should go for redfire, I saw an '04 Cobra @ the local Ford dealership and I like a lot better than Torch.

The more i see the legend lime in the GT with the bullits the more i like it, i've seen it live and in person at the 40th show on a V6 with the lower stripes and didnt care much for it but i kinda like it on the GT with bullits! B)

Well, you saw it at NAIAS no?

I've been to Summit Ford about 5 times in the last few months. I've compared the torch and redfire and always walk away saying the redfire is too dark/purply in anything but bright sunlight and that the torch is nicer, especially with a bit of overcast.

Everytime I pick torch over redfire standing in the lot with them side by side.

I wonder if a new design will really change my preferance?

It'll just have to be a personal decision when they hit the lots but I don't mind hearing your thoughts on the two.

Steve, for you there's only one blue. Its an easy choice. Have patience with me here.

Whichever one is the burgandy looking one (like my Laser Red), that's the one I'd go for. I have a rough time with "Flat Red" no matter what version it is. Don't they all fade anyway to a red/pink? Granted my car is a 97 but the top of the front fenders have faded some and in the right light it really stands out. That's why I'm debating on repainting the same color or a silver metallic.

By the way, thanks for the pictures, that's great. Is this thread the first time anyone noticed the changes in the front fascias?? If so, good job!

Seeing redfire at Philly and Torch Red on the current car I think I like redfire more at night and the brighter red in the daytime.

Well then, the decision is VERY clear then.... I can't wait to see either red in person. :worship:

Well thats what I meant! It's too close to call. Thankfully I don't have to pick between the colors but I wouldn't buy either one without seeing both first. I just can't get over how awesome that redfire one looks in that one night video though. (The 05 getting loaded into the truck.)

I guess it comes down to bright red vs dark red. Which do you generally prefer on a car?
