Sounds like the 02 V6 is sold to somebodys insurance company! Thats a good thing I guess! Especially since you came out of it okay! Congrats on your upcoming marriage!

Hmmm...I just have to say this:

You are one LUCKY guy! How? 1. Didn't get hurt in your accident (thankfully!). 2. Have an undamaged 05 to replace the 02. and 3. You are engaged to a dance instructor, dude! Way to go!!!

UPDATE...
The 02 is being totaled...now we'll see what the insurance offers. Thanks for all the great words of support. I'm definitely lucky to be uninjured. My fiance' is wonderful and extremely hot to boot. I'm luckier than a guy ought to be! Thanks again to all...I'll let everyone when we settle with the ins...

She's not pregnant, btw...

Glad your okay of course. Now to emphasize the positive. We need to make a bigger deal out of this. Dude, you proposed inside the new '05.

It's a great story. Sell the rights to Ford. it would make a great commercial. Minus the accident part of course. That's wonderful! Best of luck to both of you!

Way to go Barrett. All the important stuff is in place---starting with the great fiance', then no injuries, then the 2005; not to make light of the insurance money, but hopefully that will turn out OK, and you can make more money.

You can't replace your health and a great gal like yours.

Yeah, that's the shame in this whole deal. I am a huge Mustang freak (obviously), and she has danced her whole life, so taking the Stang to the dance studio had a great double meaning. It really spoiled an otherwise wonderful experience. But I can't stress enough...I'm not hurt, have a great girl with an 05 GT :worship: , still have both of my Stangs (unharmed

)

Congrats on the engagement! Sorry about the car, but now technically you already sold it to the kid driving the Malibu. Hope he thinks it is worth the price he paid. And even with everything that happened to you that night, you were unhurt so that should count for something. Hope the two of you have a happy and healthy life together.
