Murphy's Law

I'm sure everyone has heard of Murphy's Law..........if anything bad can happen, it will!. I think Murphy lives with me. My car was due for delivery the week of 18 April. Didn't happen. Dealer finally said it would ship rail on 2 May, but would not provide an ETA. Tuesday he called and said the car had been delivered at the rail yard, and would be at the dealership on Wednesday (no guarantee) but by Thursday at the latest (today). When I called today to check on status, the Inventory manager tells me they delivered the car on Wednesday, but it was entirely the wron car. He was not sure if the correct car would get delivered today or not. So my expectations of driving my NuPony05 today went down the toilet. To make matters worse, my pre-approved loan check expires today, and my credit union could not just issue a new check. They have to cancel this check and then submit a new loan application. That could take 24-48 hours I was told. So now even if the correct car arrives tomorrow, I just may not have a check to go and pick it up. Looks like it will probably be a Saturday delivery. I just hope it happens early Saturday since I will be at the Richmond VA NASCAR race on Saturday! Watching those carrs run around the track without me having my new Mustang will just be sheer agony! Keep your fingers crossed for me. I am so close to finishing this deal I can taste it!

What happened to you has been my worse nightmare. And now that the wrong car was delivered, it scares me even more!
