I didn't think it was possible to make an S197 Saleen any uglier, but I've been proven wrong.

That has always amazed me also. All are from Cali, the land of a thousand car regulations.

Of the shows I've seen maybe 1 or 2 cars would have been allowed on PA roads...

 

Seriously...why? Why didn't they "pimp" her Miata. At least those are made to be riced.

That is just wrong on so many levels.

 

That silver on the front doesn't even look rice, it just looks ugly and cheap. The color isn't my taste but se la vie. I hate the saleen body kit on any color.
Those rims are probably on very near the top of the list for ugliest rims ever on a Mustang.

But thats what they do. I don't think they made the car look any stupider than that dope with the big spiked hair. Still fun show to watch, if cspan is off the air.

Her orginial ride wasn't a Miata. It was a Nissian Pulsar. In dustindu4's post with the 3 attachments(#63). Check out the middle one.The caption said "they knew the Pulsar was a piece of junk pimped or not...."

And how can she afford insurance on a "pimped" Mustang GT at 20 years old when she couldn't even take care of her Pulsar? Especially living in California where, I am sure, insurance rates are outragously expensive anyway.

What the heck was the Pulsar anyway? I have never heard of one until I saw the last 5 minutes of this show.

 

if i lived anywhere near where all these Pimp My Ride "winners" lived, i would keep a sledge hammer in my trunk just in case i saw any of them. it would be the feeling of a lifetime to take a big frigging demo hammer to one of those cars. in the case of this pony, i might feel bad for a second, but i would just want to put it out of its misery

 

Agreed, someone needs to take that pony behind the barn and put 'er down

I just saw this lastnight...OMG...I can't believe they painted the car that way. That looked so honkie tonk...

One thing, I did love that hood. Was that a saleen hood or the gt500 hood?

 

That WAS the Cali Dream hood... totally destroyed!!!

 

if it wasn't for the chrome, the wheels, and tv's I think its cool. The hood idea is unique which is what our hobby is all about.
