Oddly enough I have the same problem. My brackets are installed properly. There is a gap, just like in your picture, on the drivers side only. I will have to look at this tonight to see if bending the bracket fixes the problem.

Have you or anyone bought these yet? I just saw them for the first time today and they look a little less of an afterthought than most of the other kits...

They have a better picture here... http://www.calponycars.com/admin/TFi...58-551%202.jpg

They look pretty good. Maybe painted body color, or polished and clear coated.

I put a coat of primer on them yesterday and I am awaiting the Screaming Yellow paint to come in.
Keeping the shocks black. The sticker that comes on the shock peels off pretty easily.
All parts are marked passenger or drivers side for mounting ease.

I have not put them on yet but they look real nice.

The only bad thing is there are no pictures on the install sheet.
Looks like it wont be hard though.

The link you posted is the first installed pix I have seen of this set.
It looks like this guy peeled the stickers off too...

Paint should be in this week. I will shoot it then clearcoat. I will snap/post up when they are on.

FYI...Late Model Restorations just went up on their price.
I ordered it 4/30 from them for $89.95. Their site now has it for $97.95.

They are still $89.95 here:

My paint & clearcoat should be in today....

I will have some of the NXTs in stock next week. The price will be $89.95. I haven't seen them yet in person, but it looks like they'll fit better than anything else I've seen, and they look good without painting.

The last pair of CDC ones that I got were also painted silver, instead of the bare steel. They also look much better than in the past, because they won't have to be painted either.

I put two coats of Screaming Yellow on them yesterday. Going to clear them
this afternoon. I dont have them on the car yet but quality wise these things
look fantastic and no one can beat that $89.95 price for something this nice.

I will post up snaps when they are on. Im planning for Sunday afternoon.

Hey could you do me a favor and measure from the middle bolt hole (hole closest to the stud) to the ball stud and tell me the distance? I don't have much room for these to fit but I'd really like a set and I like the look of these.
Thanks Mike

Looks great.....You would never know they are aftermarket.....Mustangs should come from Ford that way.

Just a quick note these do not work with a GT500 hood, HOWEVER if you're good with a grinder (not a hack job) and smooth out the backside of the bracket they will work fine. These are definitely nice brackets and struts.

Thanks Mike
