I'm new to modifying a V8 and was wondering who you guys trust the most when it comes to performance parts for the mustang as far as quality and performance go. I was thinking about going with Steeda, what do you think? Thanks.

 

That is one reason why I am going to wait to mod my 05 (if at all). I would like to see how these mods work out for others. See which ones perform (or sound) the best.

 

steedas parts are always the best engineered and designed. They have more computing power and production equipment. You have to remember that saleen and roush(and steeda) as far as superchargers go, they just use off the shelf brands like Lysholm, only the tunes are custom. Saleen and Roush also use a lot of parts from other makers, borla, eibach, etc. Steeda makes just about everything in-house except the blower units and most of the exhaust systems.

 

Thanks kevin! That's exactly what I wanted to know! Now I just need the car, too bad that's probably gonna be the hardest part! I first ordered initially on July 28, but then I felt stupid for ordering a automatic so I changed it to the manual on September 1 because I hadn't received any build information yet anyways! I wonder how long tell they get me a vin #? I wouldn't think just changing it from an auto to a manual would affect it that much?! I just hope it gets here before the snow flies!
