I'm 20, and I just don't think the wing looks good. It may not be rice, but it's not really necessary. Look at the '03-'04 Cobras. The spoiler delete not only looks good, but it also doesn't really negate any performance or top speed, either.

I like the hood, spoiler stinks, rims are nice. Just wish instead of just posting 18x9.5 rims that they tell the the tire size as well. Are those 295's or 285's?

I like it, wing and all. The only thing I do not like is the hood, but I like the black stripe on it.
I agree with you kevin. I wonder how that would look with the concept style hood? Oh and I don't care for the decal in the front. everything else looks great.

question...Steeda seems to be calling it just the "Q" on their website and everywhere else lists it as the "Q400" and another variation called the "Q400 R"

are there 3 different cars or just 2? meaning, is the "Q" and the "Q400" the same car and slightly different variations? also, is the picture in this thread photoshopped? the picture on Steeda's website not only has different wheels but the splitter has more yellow in it.

The way I took it........ 2diff. cars 1 street, 1 race..... 3 versions of the engine!

1 350 hp ...... Q400
2 400+hp supercharged...... Q400
3 700 hp which is the Q400R...... that someone stated is the race version.

someone correct me if I'm wrong?

This car definetely looks better with a cowl hood (only I would go bigger )than the plain ol' stock hood.

I like it, I don't see anything wrong with that particular wing, far better than the last one, very similar to the one on the current body style, which no one ever really complained about. The front lip could be better integrated. But other than that I like it.

One thing I find funny is so far people have made very little reference to the actual PERFORMANCE upgrades, which is what steeda is known for, they're suspension and cars like they're supercharged q400...

Although I understand doing things that make a car look better without detracting from performance (a crazy paint job, for instance), I for one don't understand adding unneeded weight to a car just for looks.

I can make exception for weight from a sweet stereo, becaue you are adding performance to your sound system. A huge spoiler adds weight, but adds performance to nothing. Ground effects add nothing but weight. A huge hood adds nothing but weight unless it is functional.

Of course, everyone is welcome to do whatever they want, I just don't get adding weight for the sheer purpose of looks. The car already looks great. JMO.

Oh, and Dr. Iven, congrats on only being 20, and yet choosing to vote for Bush.

Most of the younger kids around here (I'm 27, but hang out at bars with college kids a lot) are ultra-liberal and flame me for having the views I do on politics. BTW, I'm not trying to start a political discussion, in fact, I didn't vote for Bush the first time around.

Yeah, thanks, Newman. I'll be 21 in February, about a month after President Bush's inauguration.

The more I look at this car, the more I like the wing.

Especially in the side view in front of the garage.

Love the blackout treatment and the two tone paint on the hood as well. Rims are a perfect size, just not to sure about the wing yet, we will see.

I get what your saying but I think a lot of people don't care if they the car is tiny bit slower in the quarter because of cool looking hood or spoiler. People want a nice looking car that stands out too. Many people buy a mustang for it's appearance as much as it's performance. Just take a look at all the v6 stangs out there. Performance isn't everything to everyone.

The new Steeda pictures suggest that a lower spoiler has been mounted when in fact it's still the Cobra-R(ice) version it was from the get go. It just looks lower because of the angle the shot was taken at.

I drove by Steeda today and saw the car in person exactly as on the last pix Brad received. There is only one car and they are working on it on a daily basis. Don't really care for the new rims or the Steeda fake gas cap to be honest. The black bar between the taillights is painted on. Not my thing either. I'll post some pix on fridayday (have no cardreader here right now).

well the saying goes, "if you are younger and conservative you have no heart, if you're older and liberal you have no brain"
