Remember the first set of louevers DG Custom Made? Were you looking for more of the one opening louever. Well look no further, DG Custom has created it. whats the guarantee that they won't fly off? j/w because other people with sidescoops of other brands that stcik on with 3m, have said they came off.

 

I can probably chime in on it, although I do not have his side scoops, 3m heave Automotive tape is held on very strong. I do have the Xenon side scoops on my stang and I've had them on well over a year now and they are on there nice and strong. I've driven on 80MPH highways and they just stay on.

As long as the company that manufactures the products, use's a well known double sided tape brand, like 3M, and how HEAVY the adhesive tape is, you should be great. DG Custom uses the best 3M adhesive tapes on the market.

My CDC chin spoiler is on with 3M automotive tape, my louevers from DG Custom Auto are on with automotive tape and my mirror covers from DG are on with automotive tape and have had not fallen, or began to rip off the car.

I'm sure others on here who have exterior parts that use automotive tape can chime in on here and give their thoughts. But they do work and they do last a long time.

What's up Mav? One question... Is that tape to look like a vent opening, or is it a plastic honeycone fake grill like on the GT/CS side scoops? I can't tell by the pictures. Thanks

Good News guys:

Happy to announce that as a CDC Dealer, DG Custom Auto will gladly PAINT the parts @ an extra cost. Contact Craig DeGraff for information on pricing for painting a particular CDC part.


Side shots of the vehicle for the new louevers and side scoops will be emailed to me with a few days. He has a Grabber Orange GT Stang lined up at the local ford dealer to get the parts put on, when he delivers the parts, he will take the pics for me and I will gladly post them on here!


The new louevers DO have a fake honeycomb piece inside the opening in the louevers.


As an additive, a SPY shot of a NEW AGGRESSIVE Hood Scoop & CHIN SPOILER the company has been working on will be sent to me shortly. Any of those lookin for a chin spoiler or hood scoop may wanna take a peak when the spy shot is available.
