Why do these modular motors (4.6 5.4) make so much racket. My 01 SVT Lightning made all kinds of knocking noise? My 05 Stang is not any where near as bad, but it is a little loud at times.

Fritz, Silver "05" GT Coupe IUP and everything ...

Well that would explain it! Why in the heck did they put rackets in the motor? Probalby 24 of them (3Vx8)

Mostly slight bottem end knocking, in the case with the Lightning, as soon as i put synthetic oil in, it all went away. As soon as my Stang hits 3000mi (next oil change) i'm going with Mobile One.
