Mods and Auto Financing
Hi,
I was wondering, does everyone on this board doing modifications also completely own their mustang? Are you allowed to mod your stang if the bank still holds the title? I want to finance even though I could buy it outright, but that would really make me
if I couldn't mod my mustang because I owe money on it.

Only a lease would prevent mods. Even if you've made just a single payment on a car that you've bought, it's yours to do with what you please. Do you need the bank's permission to sell it? No, and therefore you don't need its permission to mod it.
As long as it is financing through the bank, mod away. If you leased it, the car has to be in the same condition it was in when you bought it, meaning, nothing added unless it raises the value of the car. I striped my 97 GT and when I traded it in they loved it. The car sold 1 hour after I returned it. If they hated it I would have had to pay to have the stripes removed, or remove them myself obviously.
