Got an e-mail today, ITS ARRIVED!!

Spent the afternoon (5 hours ahead here) organising payment & shipping, it should leave late next week & arrive in the UK mid to late March (probably while I am in Bradenton at the NMRA race!)

Still can't believe it, having followed the IUP problems etc for the last 3 months or so, only a short while left now.

Congrats Jeff...are you the first in the U.K. to get one?

Not by a long way, there are around 30 of them here already. Very few manuals or Bullitt wheels though.

I'm surprised anyone in the U.K. would order automatic.

Anyway, are you planning on doing some mods to the 05 once you get it?

Not like I have the Fox!

Probably a flash tune, a few extra interior parts, stripes & I wish someone would make a 19 inch Bullitt replica.

Hey UKfiveo,

What will the reaction be from others. I would guess they'd hate to see an American gas guzzling muscle car over there. That would make it even more exciting driving along downing street. Stop by the queens how and take her for a spin. No but really, what will others opinion be of the car. Just curious.
Thanks

It will be really rare, probably be as much of an attention grabber as they were in the States at launch. Even though it has never been sold in the UK the Mustang is well known & the 05 could not be anything else. My 90 Gt however just baffles everyone, very few have a clue what it is.
