Maybe I could deal with this...

I like the "Men in Black" effect. My car is all dark charcoal. The Leather seats have all those little holes in them to prevent sweating. It works too.
I am thinking of wood inserts around the stereo and shift/console and maybe the steering wheel.

As far as the leather wheel issue goes, go on wheelskins.com and check out their products. I've used them and they are great. You can get any color combo you desire.

The only downfall is the stitching and fit is no match for a factory installation, which would be impossible to duplicate for a DIY installation. However if done right, the average person may not notice the difference.
On the upside ... if the wheelskins goes bad, it is easy and inexpecive to replace.
The wheelskin I put on my '94 V6 Mustang still looked new after 90k miles, as did the one in a '96 Windstar that we put 95k on. Compared to the factory wrap on my '98 V6 Mustang that started to get a funky spot at the 9:00 position at around 70-80k miles. We will see how the factory wrap holds up on my 2004 !!

Yeah I was thinking it might be possible to install a wheelskin in 3 pieces. Looks like it could work with the '05 Mustang wheel. Would look way killer with red, gray, blue or whatever on top and charcoal on the bottom two.
