sorry, 5spd, and yes I have a "active" aka useless alarm, the kind that honks your horn and flashes your lights and comes with a bright blue LED letting everyone know your lame(I bought the car used and to lazy to remove it)
since I dont know anything about the alarm it may or may not be responsible for my autolock

What kind of alarm do you really have if you bought it used?

Locking the car with the key in the door disables the tilt sensor AND the interior motion sensors, but still monitors the doors/trunk/hood.. Just FYI.

FWIW...06 GT here (manual 5 speed); just tried to activate...got the appropriate chirps to indicate that it is enabled...appropriate chirps to indicate the setting has changed but after testing no luck, doesn't work.
Thoughts?

I haven't been here in a while... I couldn't get it to work on my '05 GT (5spd) back in '04 -followed the instructions, received the confirmation chirps... Oh well... I'm just happy the global windows feature works
