Lowered a bit...

Well I installed the CDC suspension kit on my car today, looks much better with out that huge gap in the rear.

Install wen smooth took about 4 hours all around.

Never mind the stock rims with snow tires, new wheels will be in next week! Woot!

Looks fantastic!

I just put the rears on a few days ago, heading outside to do the fronts in 5 minutes. Amazed at the difference from just lowering the rear end.

Yes they are, though they seem to drop more in the back then the front.

Also when I first installed them, the rear was out 1/4" on the drivers side, but after driving about 40 miles it's now almost perfect side to side.

It is a little bit, but nothing out of the norm, it handles much better and feels flater though the curves. I drove around for 40-50 miles today over lots of different roads and never felt that stiff, just feel the road better. I also added the GT500 strut tower caps which are suposed to have a stiffer rubber, not sure if it would make a lot of difference though in feel.

Make sure you use the upper caster cambers... I didn't and have worn out a set of Eagle F1's... Having it done Friday...

I'm watching that pretty carefully for signs of it. Did you get an alignment to see where your angles were? What part of the tires wore more than usual?

The fronts of my GT500 are super wide tires... So on both sides the out 6 inches... I did have an alignment when I had it lowered and that is when they told me it would have a negative 2 degree camber.. And would be ok and over time wear... I suppose that if the car lives in the garage and is out for short drives that works.. The Challenger comes from the factory with a neg 2 camber.. Make it turn better.. But I drive mine on the highway home every weekend and put 1000 miles on it per month... So they were smoked.

So when my clutch burned out I decided to get the camber addressed. I guess the bottom line is how do you drive.. Distance...
