I wonder if that guy has more of those brackets, do you have any clue? That is pretty cool, the rear brake kit from Ford requires that you remove the axle to mount their new brackets.

And do you know if those rotors are the same as the regular GT front rotors? A pair of brackets and a pair of GT take-off rotors would be a nice low cost upgrade for my rear brakes.

Yea, the guy sells them on eBay, and I think the S197 Forum. A quick search, and I found this listing from him http://m.ebay.com/itm/05-14-Mustang-...342?nav=SEARCH

These are so much easier to install than the ford kit.

You will have to pick up rotors that are for the 13/14 GT500s. They are 13.8". Significantly larger than the our GT rotors.

Car's looking gorgeous man. Those shots are all pretty inspiring, but the bottom left pic in the 2nd of the three posts is definitely my favorite. Well done.

Thank you!

Though I am wondering now if I really want rear rotors that are that big; might throw off the front/rear brake balance which might not be a good thing on the road track . . . don't want to be locking up the rear or triggering ABS on the rear, not sure how that works

I have not had an issue. There a plenty of other guys that are using these at track events. I have not read of an issue with it at all. Of course me and them are also running with the Brembos up front.

I have the Brembos on the front also, and that's what made me wonder a little -- 14" front rotors, 13.8 on the back, almost the same . . . but the real calipers are smaller so I guess that makes some difference.

Thanks again for the info, this is on my list for sure . . . probably after the boss front lower facia and brake cooling ducts.

You won't have any issues running the GT500 rotors with Brembo front setup. None.

So today the alternator quit on me.

The cars acts crazy when the voltage is low. Eventually all electronics quit. No speedometer, no RPM gauge, no blinkers, etc. But the car kept running long enough to get to O'reilly's and let them check the system, and then to a place where I could work on the car.

I went ahead and cleaned the throttle body (which was dirty again), and replaced the serpentine belt while I was at it.

Having never done this particular task before I was pleased that it only took me about and 1-1.5 hours to finish.

Anyways pics below.
