Is it my imagination, or are a whole load of GTs (most with IUP) being produced the last 2 weeks? The "week of 4/25" message topic is 7 pages. I think Ford lifted the last restrictions on all the shortage items and has increased GT production the last 2 weeks and the following month. Mine was built Thursday after a mid December order, and for the first time on this board, I'm seeing a lot of long waiters with smiles on. Good news!

 

 

I heard from somewhere on this board, that Ford finally solved the IUP problem by getting their subsidiary which makes pieces like the chrome dash on the IUP package to increase production by giving them new equipment to produce it, this within the last month. I think Ford has prepped for increased production, and we're starting to see the fruits.

 

I don't know, my dealer is still telling me that all he can get built is v6 verts. But I am in California and 'tis the season for them.

yea im semi-happy....were still getting the deal done....dam weekends and parents make everything soo hard. it can be wrapped up in 1 day. IM DYING HERE!!

 

Thats good news to hear for the lucky people. I went to talk to my salesman today and got my DORA, which was officially received March 17. He's saying theres no way I'll be built by May, probably not even by June. My order might be put on as a 2006. I might not see a GT til August. I'm considering buying a V-6 off the lot since I love Legend Lime, but I know I should wait.

It's not cool at all but you know, what can they do.... at least if it carries over to 2006 M.Y., I can change from white to Tungsten and get those 18" rims.

 

I'm a happy camper now that I've finally got a build week of 5/30. I immediately ordered a CDC ducktail and lightbar which just might become a part of the decor of my home until get my stang! LOL.
