Looking for a GT in the next week
#1
I am looking for a GT to purchase in the next week or two, but I am having trouble finding one. I want one with IUP, Shaker 1000, Side Airbags and 5 -speed manual (Color: WB, Redfire, Mineral Grey). I will be returning from Iraq and the one I ordered won't be in until March sometime so I need to find one so that I don't need to rent a car for the next two months.
I am willing to ship it to where I will be in WA if the price is right. If anyone knows of one please let me know.
Thanks

Thanks guys for all your help. Basically I am getting to the point where I am willing to have one shipped to me from anywhere in the country. I am sure there is a dealership somewhere that has one where they are willing to unload it and that is what I am looking for. Hopefully I will find something in the next couple days.... Thanks again guys for your help!!!

Jonathan,
I found my Silver GT on January 3rd in 15 minutes by sending out requests on www.cars.com. This was after a month of total frustration visiting dealers and checking inventories online. I did pay MSRP for it, but so what. It was worth it for me. The first guy who called had my car. He was 5 miles from me! I'm so thrilled to have it in my driveway that the extra $2k over invoice doesn't bother me a bit.
By requesting quotes this way, I was inundated with calls immediately from dozens of dealers. Some of them had cars in stock that weren't shown in intentory. Many of them had cars enroute that weren't spoken for. They were and still are all over me by phone and email. I even had some lengthy conversations with several of them. Internet sales people are a more direct breed.
Just send out a bunch of requests and I'm sure the same will happen to you. You'll get the same responses using www.forddirect.com.
