My new Alloy GT Vert, a Ford GT, 25 mustangs, and some poker!
My girlfriend and I were out taking the new Alloy GT vert for a spin. We read about a possible Mustang Poker Run going on so we decided to head over to the meeting point at a local grocery store.
Once we pulled in, we saw this in the parking lot all alone....
After a few minutes the owner came out of the store. Come to find out, this guy was the lead car of the poker run! Cool!
While waiting for the other participants to show up, I took a few more pics... This thing was awesome, it was even signed by Edsel Ford, Saleen, Shelby... and a few more i cant quite remember...
After about 30 minutes.. around 25 mustangs arrived, grouped up, and headed out for the drive.
It was a drive through the Hill country around Lake Travis near Austin, Tx. Awesome trip! Imagine 25 mustangs lead by a Ford GT zoomin for 3 hours through crazy windy/hilly roads..... yes.. it was as cool as it sounds! Heres a map of the coarse....
We stopped at 4 sonics in 4 different cities along the way. At each stop we hung out for a bit and grabbed another card. The last stop was at a local mustang club show where we grabbed our final card. The person with the best hand wins!.... I dunno who won... it sure wasnt me!
All in All it was a perfect day. Couldnt think of a better way to break in the new GT Vert!!
Here are a few more pics... in no particular order.
Hope you enjoyed the story! Get some friends together in your town.. do a poker run!!

I actually believe that I saw that car at a restaurant at Lake Travis when I was up there a few weekends ago. Of course, I had to get a picture of it. BTW Fesicoy, I love the color of your new convertible. Here is the pic I took.
