My issue it this: There is a Black 5spd GT sitting 30 miles from me, just waiting for me to buy it. I just cant bring myself to buy it for 30k. So, how would I go about getting my dealer to grab it up for me? can he do that and still offer me XPlan?

This is so hard, knowing all I have to do is go down to the dealership, and pick it up... :bang:

Meanwhile, my car doesnt even have a VIN!

Clintoris, I wish it were that easy... the guys at Irvine Ford are notorious idiots, and greedy.

Dealership as a whole are not doing plans, and are marking up every 05 they get in. RSM is likely the only Orange County CA dealership that is no marking 05s up.

I think I will call the Sales Manager and tell him that I am posting his dealship name and address on the webstite, with RSMs name and address and telling people to go to RSM. Wonder what he will do then.

that might get their attention, but then again, if they are as errogant as you say, they might just blow it off and say to themselves that loosing your business doesn't mean anything to them. Somebody else will buy. Unfortunately... they're probably right... some idiot will walk in and buy it with their mark up.

Your dealer might do it. I've heard of it being done. check to see what the final price will be. They might tack their price on for doing it, and the car might come in at over 30 grand!

Don't know about the X plan !

There is no chance in the world that they will trade for it! Ive allready went through it. I work at a dealer and they have it 2995 over list. They have sold 3 at that. Why would they give it up?
