Livernois Shelby GT1000R Video/Pics
After seeing the GT800R we built for a customer in Massachusetts, we had a customer approach us about building a GT1000R. It has a very long list of mods, and would probably be easier to say what wasn't modified, but it is powered by a Livernois built big bore GT wet sump aluminum block, CNC heads, GT supercar cams, and a 4.0L Whipple.
The GT800 made 862 RWHP / 798 RWTQ and has been a best of 9.70 @ 148 mph at a weight of 4,090 lbs.
The "GT1000R", a 2009 GT500, made 1006 RWHP / 916 RWTQ on the dyno a few days ago. The dyno sheet can be seen below... over 800 RWTQ at 2,600 rpms!

Here are some photos of the car. The font on the side is incorrect, so that will be re-done soon.

Ridic!! Props on the build guys.
Reminds me of the Ultimate Bad Boy (UBB) 'stang.
Her reaction to driving something of similar power tells you everything.

Sometimes when you see these fully built cars the engine bay looks like utter ****. That one on the other hand could (almost, we know better) pass for bone stock. Serious points for that in my book.
