I visited the largest ford Dealer in Charlotee, NC this weekend. They had one Legen Lime GT in stock. They said they had 2 other GT's that had sold before they got there. They said 10 V6's were on the way. They said after these, they would not get any more until the first of Jan. They also said if I ordered one that day it would not arrive until Feb. This was all according to one salesman. Has anyone else heard anything about limited availibility like this. Oh. and i asked the reason, and he said R&D is still working all of the kinks out of it before they release alot of them.

 

go elsewhere and see what another dealer tells you!

 

well i heard that ford has alotted like 4 per dealer im not sure how true the fact is but they r getting all their stangs in 1 shot. but do me a fav and tell that salesman he is full of crap and go elsewhere because hes trying to lure u in..............i know these are gorgeous cars and i cant wait to order mine but they arent lamborghinis...no limited availablility. ford wouldnt want that its not their goal. they want to sell alot of cars

 

I still don't understand all the "alotted" cars thing. My dealer has received 6 ponies so far (except mine) and Kevin said he's taken in 12 so far. As far as this topic, Greg hit it on the button, he's casting that little shiny lure out there.

 

well, i don't know too much about dealerships and how cars are allotted, but that's already 13 05 mustangs that he is getting in. And maybe that is just their stock orders. They could have a bunch of pre-orders. besides, January is only 2 months away!!!

 

i too was told not to expect my car till mid February.... Black Gt , IUP..
