thanks for the pics, man I do like that V6 / KR flat spoiler. I looked around a few websites for one pre-painted in HP white but with no luck. I did find one locally on Craig's List but it's black. I picked it up for $40 but it will need a paint job. Got some good news from the dealer today when I asked about the exact buyout price (it's stated in the contract) but I forgot the $525 security deposit that I will get deducted from the lease buy out. That puts the 08' GT/CS at $21.9K and I'm good to go and very happy about that.

Congrats Andy: Looks as if once you decided to really keep your Cal-Vert, everything just begins to fall together like it was ment to be!
Also good score on finding and getting the V-6 spoiler for low bucks!
Now this is the time to do your research on getting a very good auto painter to redo your new spoiler. You may have to pay just a little bit more for the perfect matching paint and factory smooth clear coat. But this will be smart money invested not spent on your CT/CS! you want it to look like it was factory from day one. Good Luck and let us know how it all turns out there.

now that your going to own it, are you gonna drive it more?
i drive mine everywhere as long as there's no salt/acid on the road.
i wouldn't do any body work to the deck lid. swap spoilers if you want one.
if not track down a non spoiler lid in white. i'm looking for a plain deck lid in black.
P.S. when i was still making payments, people would ask "is that your car?"

I temporarily removed the spoiler and filled the holes with Autozone plugs sealed with silicon caulk. I do prefer the "no wing" look but these black plugs don't cut it either. I may try to get the flat V6 spoiler, if I can find one in HP white for about $100. Otherwise and if I do buy this lease out, I'll take it to a body shop for fill and repaint on the trunk lid.

Buy it and bolt a SC onto it and you won't car that you don't have the 5.0. I was looking to trade my 08 GT500 in on an 2011 GT500 but I just prefer the body style of our model year so much better. With the difference I would've needed to pay in order to get the 2011 I decided to make mine into a Super Snake.

Spoiler Pics
Here are a few recent pics with the new flat spoiler. I like it on the 'vert. Now doesn't that tail end look just right? I mean compared to the 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14? LOL. The CS on the fake center gas cap (don't flame me bros) that stands for, uh California Special right? Yea that's it.

P.S. Because this may become a Classic Mustang GT/CS someday, you may want to consider wrapping up that original spoiler and keeping it in storage somewhere. This because if you ever sell this GT/CS, the next owner may just want to put it back to it's original factory look?

yea I have all the stock parts stored, including the pedestal spoiler in the garage - just in case I ever run into a real picky (future classic) buyer.
