I was wondering if anybody was having this problem. For chirstmas I received sequential turn signals, which are awesome by the way. When I was installing them I took out the carpet piece that covers the spare tire and there was about half and inch to an inch of frozen water where the spare tire sits. I don't think this is normal. Anybody in the colder states where it has been raining and snowing lately have noticed this. I'm taking it in next week to have the dealer check it out.

That points to either the trunk weather stips or a poorly sealed back window. I would take it to the dealer.

Maybe its me (I am Polish), but I have never noticed this problem in my previous cars. When there is snow or water on the trunk and I open the trunk, some of the water/snow bounces off the window and into the trunk. Everytime, I get clumps of snow or splatter of water in the trunk.

I didn't know anything about this problem but when I put my GT in for service to switch the wheels they told me my trunk had a leak and they had to reseal it. No big deal apparently.

Guess I'd better take a look where my spare goes. SPeaking of which, has anyone with the shaker 1000 noticed how much of a pain it is to remove the spare tire cover......FORD overlooked that one.
