The leak fix
Well the leak is gone!
here is a picture of where the leak was - the cowling on the driver side was leaking. According to the leak guy - its been common on the 05 mustang.. he has fixed 5 05 stangs in the seattle everett area this last week. He knew just where to look - took him less than 45 min to fix.
Brien motors in everett dried out the carpets... no Damage !!!
slight smell of silicon in the interior - which should go away as it sets..
also - there is a new part for the strut tower popping sounds - however Ford has not yet authorized the TSB yet.. will be doing so soon according to my service department.

wash it and spray / pour water around the cowl - two hints you have a leak , the car steams up - carpet gets wet.

But I understand the humor
- actually we are in a serious drought right now in good ol washington, snow pack is 1/3 normal...
it didnt start raining here -almost all winter until I bought my car - 2 weeks later - rain rain rain :bang:
