Seems like a great deal but are they worth it?

 

Does anybody have these installed? Anyone with a KR out there?

Basically want to know if they are an improvement over stock. With 78K on my GT, mine are pretty crappy.

I'm thinking about Steeda Sports and Koni SRT's but the Ford Racing 1" (P) springs and the KR shock/strut combo can be had for less than the Koni's alone so it's tempting.

I'd be concerned about KR struts & shocks on a GT because they have a firmer setup to counter the weight of the 5.4 SC engine. You'd be mis-matching dampers and springs and bars etc.

 

Huge improvement over the shocks that came on my Bullitt; those were replaced with Koni yellows though. The KR shocks seem quite good, and are a great value at that price.
