I bet once production gets closer R&T will have a full feature on the Mustang. But you are correct about being ignored to date. They did have a small article a few issues ago when they featured the New Corvette. (Which you probably already know.)

R&T arae usually pretty good when it comes to reviewing Mustangs. Of course I haven't seen a R&T with ANY Mustang test for some time.

I hope they do glass instead of plastic for the rear window.

And that does look like a ducktail under the leather.

I was just about to note the existence of the rise right at the back of the stang. However, I doubt this is a ducktail. Anything is possible, it might be part of the camo, or it might really be a ducktail.

Do I think there will be a ducktail at some point? Yes, possibly on a SE or Cobra. Do I think the hump in that picture is a ducktail? I dunno. If it is, I doubt it will show up on the 'vert next year.

EDIT: found some more stufft thats kinda interesting on these earlier pics of the camo 'vert. 1) Ford does know how to paint side-view mirrors, just too bad it doesnt match the rest of the car. 2) The mule pictured below is using '99-04 tail lights(check the direction they slant). you cant tell in the MT pic, but just thought it was interesting. 3) This mule also appears to have the hump in back, although its not as pronounced b/c of the canvas flap running from the rear window to the trunk. (second pic in next post)

Hmmm, I dunno. Ever since they switched to that wacky wide-format, I have completely IGNORED the existance of Road & Track.

To my knowledge, Road and Track has been totally silent about the 05 Mustang. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's a really old picture. Isn't it one of the early test mules with a lot of '04 body parts glued on?
